Knives

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

While I was in Exmouth, I made these knives.  Bought the blades on-line and fitted the handles from four different timbers – Jarrah, Driftwood (possibly Mangrove), Australian Oak and Karri.  Mind you, I can’t be sure about the species – best guess only!

The two straight edged knives work well for various woodwork tasks.  The other two are risky if used to cut or carve – the curved edge means they slip away as easy as.  I believe the spade shaped blade could be useful for cutting leather, veneer, etc on a backing board.
