Shed works in progress – halted by the weather and inertia!
Today has warmed up. Forecast 38°C, but currently 35°C – humidity is over 60%. Not too high, but hot enough. After a couple of days placing insulation batts in the walls and ceiling, I’m taking the rest of the day off.
Painting panels can wait until tomorrow morning, and I can start placing panels in the afternoon.
It has been hot and dry for weeks now. The acre block is largely brown, and we are watering the garden. But storms are forecast for Sunday and Monday. The weather in Australia this last month has been extreme, with widespread rain and floods in Central Australia, storms in South Australia bringing down trees and power lines, and flash floods in Melbourne. Some good rain and perhaps a thunderstorm would be good, but perhaps we should be careful of what we are asking for…
